EVERYDAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY

Owners, Instructors and top Taekwondo students smiling for picture in Mill Creek

We opened White Tiger in 2006 with a dream of building and teaching a community of Taekwondo enthusiasts who would learn to love Taekwondo as much as we do. Grand Master Yoo,7th Degree Black Belt, was professionally trained and educated at the prestigious Yong-In University in Seoul, South Korea; with a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science with an emphasis in Taekwondo. He is a certified coach and Physical Education teacher. With more than 45 years of Taekwondo experience and 30 years of professional teaching you can trust that you are being trained by a Professional.

Mrs. Yoo is a 4th Degree Black Belt with more than 25 years of experience in Taekwondo and 20 years of teaching.

Taekwondo is not only a physical activity and method of self-defense; it becomes a way of life built solidly around core tenants of respect, courtesy and perseverance. It is a holistic sport that unifies the mind and body in its practice.

Namesake White Tiger:

In Korean culture, it has been told that when a White Tiger appears, powerful people become humble and rich people become generous. As such, in Korean history and culture, a White Tiger is regarded as a guardian that drives away evil spirits and a sacred creature that brings good luck – the symbol of courage and absolute power.
